Happy Tuesday! Today is a special Tuesday because it is Dom and my official 2 year anniversary! I still can't believe I'm lucky enough to call that hunk of man mine. We're headed to our favorite chocolate and wine bar for a date night before I go back to Organic Chemistry and he jets off to Ireland, Scotland and Wales for 9 days. He lives a hard life. ;)
Anywho! I'm linking up with Becky today for the Bloggers 411! Here's the rundown on me.

1. How long have you been blogging? And what got you started on blogging? Has your blog changed?
I made my blog about 4 months ago, but I didn't start regularly blogging until just under 2 months ago. I have been reading blogs for a long time, and I knew I wanted to start my own eventually. Since I am relocating to Florida soon, I figured starting a blog would be the perfect way to keep friends and family in the loop, as well as document all the adventures that are coming my way! Plus I love taking pictures. My blog hasn't had time to change yet, but I know it will when I'm settling in Florida and talk more about cooking, living on a med student budget, living with a boy, and exploring a new city!
2. Did you go to college? If so where, and what did you study?
I went to the George Washington University, and graduated in May, 2011.
I studied Biological Anthropology and interned doing cognition research on the gorillas and orangutans at the Smithsonian National Zoo. I still love it, but have decided to pursue a career in dietetics instead since it is much more family friendly.
3. Where have you traveled?
3. Where have you traveled?
Traveling is my absolute favorite! I've traveled to Australia and New Zealand twice each, Scotland, Canada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico every 3 years, Denmark, Italy, and Fiji. In October I'm going back to Italy with my family, and then my boyfriend and I are renting a car and hitting up Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany all in one week! That will be quite the adventure.
4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would buy?
A beach house! With a wrap around porch and huge floor to ceiling windows so I could stare at my yacht... which would be my second purchase.
5. What are your 3 biggest pet peeves?
5. What are your 3 biggest pet peeves?
Gulping, slow drivers, Dierks Bentley. Can a person be a pet peeve? Not sure, but for some reason his music drives me insane. And if one of his songs comes on while I'm behind a slow driver? Bad news bears.
6. What is your favorite movie?
6. What is your favorite movie?
Love Actually. Always makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
7. What is your drink of choice; wine, beer, or liquor. Or Water, Soda, Tea?
Liquor. Preferably whiskey. However, I am a self proclaimed wino sooo maybe wine. How about both? Does that make me an alcoholic?
8. What is something you enjoy to do when you have me time?
Sleep! I also love watching movies, sitting by the lake, working out occasionally, cooking/baking, discovering new blogs, online shopping, cleaning (really), and reading a good book. Anything that is enjoyable but doesn't take much effort is how I like to recharge and get back to me.
9. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be?
I'm going to have to go with J. Crew. I don't think I have ever come across a piece of their clothing that I don't absolutely adore. I am also a huge Lilly Pulitzer fan, and would happily wear her dresses everyday, but they're pretty bright and busy so I think $10,000 worth would be a little much.
10. Share with us an embarrassing moment of your past? Or present.
10. Share with us an embarrassing moment of your past? Or present.
I remember it like it was yesterday. It was the 7th grade dance. It was also my family's Halloween party. My friends and I were going to the dance for a few hours and then come back for the party. My father had specific instructions on when and where to pick us up. Instead, he thought it would be funny to come into the dance to get us. Dressed as Morpheus. This is hands down the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to a 12 year old and I am still not over it. Oh my gosh I want to crawl under the bed just thinking about it. My dad? Still thinks it's his shining moment.
11. What day would you love to relive again?
My 22nd birthday. Since I'm not married or engaged I don't really have any huge defining moments that I want to relive again. My 22nd birthday sticks out because it was just the perfect day! I spent it all with Dom, and we shopped, floated in his pool, were lovey and lazy and then got dressed up for a fancy dinner in Saratoga. The next day we headed out to Montauk for our first vacation together. I just remember that day being so easy, happy, exciting, full of love and just the best day ever.
12. If your life was turned into a movie... what actor would play you?
Ginnifer Goodwin. With long hair.
13. What are the jobs you had in high school/college/the early years?
Starting in high school and every summer through college I worked as a secretary/generic assistant at the Cardiac Care Center at a hospital in Syracuse. When I graduated I was hired as a medical secretary in the same department. During college I was a junior manager for our student center thing and I interned at the National Zoo.
14. Show us a picture from high school or college.
Sorority formal Senior year. Keepin' it classy, as always.
15. If you could travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go?
Bora Bora! Anywhere in French Polynesia would be fine by me!
16. Show us the most current picture of you or you and your family.
This is the most recent picture taken of me, at the Rascal Flatts concert with some of my best girlfriends!
17. Where do you see your life 5 years from now?
I hope to be married and somewhat settled in 5 years. 5 years from now is when Dom should be graduating medical school, and if I'm blessed enough to still have him in my life we will probably have chosen a place to live and be getting ready to start a family. I hope to be living somewhere much warmer than New York, but with all four seasons. Maybe Virginia? North Carolina? We'll see! Or, if Dom goes into the Air Force or Navy we might be stationed somewhere, or waiting to hear what happens next. Being 23, I think the next 5 years of my life will be some of the best.

You've been to so many places! I am definitely super jealous. Yum wine and Love Actually is one of my all time favorite movies as well!
