1. If you could relive any memory in your life, tell us what it would be, and what/if anything you would change about it?
I would go back and redo my college orientation weekend. We had "small groups" where we had a "Colonial Cabinet" member, or basically counselor, who met with about 20 of us and answered any questions we had about college. I remember vividly seeing this blonde girl in my group and thinking she was the skinniest person I had ever seen (turns out her HS boyfriend had just broken up with her, and she hadn't eaten in days...in a few months that would be me too). Then, she introduced herself as Bennett, and I realized she had the cutest southern accent ever. I didn't speak to her at all, but I recognized her again when we pledged the same sorority. Fast forward 2 years and she became my roommate and best friend. We were inseparable and still are (even though a funny thing called geography keeps us physically separated)! If I could go back to that moment I would have gone over there and talked to her so we didn't waste 2 years of our lives not being friends!
2. If you could be any celebrity or well-known person, show us who you would be.
3. If you won the lottery, tell us would take the lump sum or
take the money overtime, would you continue working or quit right away,
would you reveal who you are, and what are some of the first things you
would spend with your money?
I think I would take the money in a lump sum so I could invest most of it and just let it chill and grow (those are the official terms, by the way). If I had a job I absolutely loved I would probably keep working, maybe part-time, but probably not. I will always be one of those people who sees a job as something that is keeping me away from my family, so if I had the opportunity to be a SAHM and focus on my family and the hobbies I love I would jump at the chance! If somehow down the road my hobby was my job, then I'd keep it. I wouldn't reveal who I am! Haven't you seen those specials about the lottery curse? Only my close friends and family would know, because the first things I would spend my money on are houses for loved ones and an awesome vacation.
4. If you could live anywhere, show us where it would be and tell us why.
This is the "if" game so...
I would live in that house on North Carolina's Outer Banks. I need to live by water, I grew up on water and just can't imagine not being able to see it every day if I wanted to. But, I also love the seasons. I adore Florida, but I don't think I could spend my whole life without fall. The Outer banks would be perfect, because it's heavenly in the summer, but still has all 4 seasons. The winters are also nowhere near Syracuse winters, so I'd be in heaven!
Teleportation. It would make traveling so much easier. I think any other superpower would get in the way of me living a normal happy life.

That is a great magic power! Get to go anywhere, quick! Less cash to get there too! ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy Grandpa lives in NC, I love that state!
Brooke
That house is sick! If it becomes your, let me come visit, k?! And Carrie is a great choice!
ReplyDeleteYES, North Carolina is wayyy closer to Ohio than FL. Then we can be friends... I mean we already are, but friends that actually see each other once in awhile! :)
ReplyDeleteAND PS- I put teleportation on mine too. We are soulmates!
I love reading these link ups :) I might participate in the next one! Sounds like fun!
