Buns of Steel and Viagra: When In Florence!

On our second day in Italy we headed to Florence!
We did one of those bus tour things so we saw a whole ton of things really quickly.
It was great to get a sampling, but we didn't get to explore too much...
Until we decided to bail on a leather factory tour and run away from our tour group
Rebels, we are!

My favorite part of Florence was seeing The David.
My response to this historical masterpiece?
"Someone's been doing their squats."
I have no idea what came over me.  But I promise you, he is very well defined.
You can't take pictures of the real one, but there is a replica in the square, which is the one you see above.
Sadly, the picture of his behind is on my father's camera (a sentence I never thought I would say).

Another goody Florence has is lots and lots of gelato, which I did not shy away from one bit the whole week.
What? Calories don't count on vacation. Duh.

Yep, that would be Viagra gelato.  Yes, both my boyfriend and father ordered it.  And "cheers-ed" each other. 

I'm clearly not traumatized.
