Dom and I are finally home after a whirlwind 10 days in New York! I wish I could call it a vacation, but as fun as it was it was 90% work. Planning a wedding from so far away with so little time (on Dom's end) means we need to use all the time we can fitting everything in! We had meetings with both of our priests, the venue, florist, the church, and a whole bunch of potential rehearsal dinner locations as well as potential bridal suites! We were so productive but I am exhausted. I cannot wait to sleep in my bed tonight!
One night while we were at my lake house I wore this outfit to explore the "Coolest Small Town In America 2012" aka Hammondsport, NY. I hadn't heard about Eshakti before they contacted me about reviewing something from them, but I was so impressed at the variety of styles they carry. I immediately fell in love with this navy peplum top. I already can't resist peplum, but the subtle bow totally won me over. I love bows but don't want to risk looking like a two year old, so this top is perfect. It looks a little funny in the bust, but that's due to my lack of bust, if you will. With Eshakti you can actually customize all your dimensions to make sure everything fits perfectly. Unfortunately, I can't find out measuring tape and overestimated my size a bit. ;) Still, I love the top and can't wait to wear it again!
The top is so so adorable! I hope you're getting a lot of rest after your crazy whirlwind trip, I can imagine wedding planning is incredibly exhausting.

ReplyDeleteLook at you! Just glowing ;) glad you guys had a productive few days!!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit!! You look amazing!! And glad you were able to fit a bunch of wedding stuff in while you were in NY. I remember planning my wedding from a distance (granted it was only a 3 hour drive), but we tried to cram as much in as we could when we were out there so that we didn't have to make the trip as often. As hectic as it could be, it was also awesome to get so much checked off our wedding to-do list at one time!
ReplyDeleteCute top! Love the bow and the color!
