A Post About Penelope

Yesterday marked one year since we went to the Humane Society "just to look" and brought little Miss P home!  She has been the best surprise and addition to my life.  When we first brought her home she was a tiny 22 lb puppy who didn't know what toys were and just curled up in a ball to sleep all day.  A year later she is a sassy little ball of love and cuddles.  She is still afraid of wind and being left alone, but loves the beach, peanut butter, and pretty much everyone other than me.  Just when I remind her I am the one who feeds her, someone new comes and she leaves me in the dust!

Even though having a puppy on my own has had its challenges, I can't imagine my life without her little wagging body and perfect puppy dog eyes.  We rescued her, but she rescues me time and time again!  I love you Nell Bell!

  1. Puppies are the best! My dog totally makes my day every day and all she does it be her cute, playful puppy self.
